2023 Toyota Tundra

Introducing the All-New 2023 Toyota Tundra

The 2023 Tundra is the most powerful, most capable and most advanced body-on-frame truck by Toyota to date. With the introduction of this all-new design, we are excited to take you through some of the Tundra’s updated design, suite of available technology, performance capabilities, as well as the multiple safety features of this new truck. The 2023 Tundra is offered in a total of six available trim levels: The SRSR5LimitedPlatinum1794 and TRD Pro models. Born from a lineage of trucks and SUVs rooted in quality, durability and reliability, the new Tundra is a truck that makes its predecessors very proud indeed!

Born From Invincible

Improvements and enhancements include a new high-strength boxed, steel-ladder frame, aluminum-reinforced composite bed, as well as a fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension. This gives this new stout Tundra an impressive maximum towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds (5,440 kg) and a max payload capacity of 1,940 pounds (880 kg).

The 2023 Tundra is offered with two different powerplant configurations. A new, highly efficient twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 engine offers impressive output by itself, producing up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft. of torque. When paired with a brilliantly engineered bell-housing motor system called the i-FORCE MAX, the result is a combined performance output of 437 horsepower and a whopping 583 lb.-ft. of torque. Both configurations will be mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

Two Powerful Powertrains

The all-new Tundra will offer two powertrain options: a twin-turbo V6 engine and a hybrid twin-turbo V6. Surprisingly, the hybrid powertrain will be the most powerful of the two. Mated to both engines will be a 10-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECTi). The new 10-speed features a sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic, and TOW/HAUL driving modes.

Rugged, Yet Sophisticated

The All-New Tundra is designed by truck people, for truck people. Years of design resulted in this new full-sized truck’s bold exterior styling, which in turn compliments its spacious well-equipped interior. This newly designed interior offers up creature comforts for driver and passenger alike. An available panoramic roof, rear sunshade, heated steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats are just the beginning!

These days, tech is everywhere and it's certainly plentiful throughout the new Tundra. Some examples include off-road enhancements, an all-new multimedia system, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with over-the-air updates.

The Tundra is available in two different four-door layouts, as well as various bed lengths, including a 5.5-foot bed, 6.5-foot bed and an 8.1-foot bed. As you would expect, premium materials are abundantly used in the Tundra, a truck with a remarkably strong pedigree.

The goal with this all-new Tundra was to create the most powerful, sophisticated and rugged full-sized pickup truck. The result is a muscular, chiseled and athletic design that looks like it can handle the toughest of demands. This all-new design approach is focused on providing active safety features as standard equipment on every grade. Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard on the SR trim-level, all the way to the TRD Pro line.

The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) features multiple enhancements by not only detecting the vehicle ahead of you, but also detects pedestrians and cyclists in low light environments.

This current generation of Tundra raises the bar in its class across design, performance, safety and technology standards. Toyota’s dependable DNA has been passed from generations to culminate in the most capable, most powerful and most advanced body-on-frame truck ever.

Now, let’s explore some of the Tundra’s suite of technological features.

First up is Toyota’s all-new Audio Multimedia system, designed and engineered by Toyota’s Texas-based Connected Technologies team. This new system operates on Toyota’s newly designed touchscreens, and features the brand new Human Machine Interface (HMI). This advanced HMI delivers improved interaction through sight, touch, and voice activation. This new system is featured on the centrally located standard 8-inch touchscreen, or the gorgeous available 14-inch touchscreen with improved screen resolutions for high-quality, crisp visuals.

When it comes to Toyota’s virtual Intelligent Assistant, this easy to use companion is now more advanced than ever! With simple “wake-up” phrases, such as “Hey/Hi/Hello/OK Toyota” to make connection easy and seamless.  Off-road Technology with available Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) and Crawl Control (CRAWL) technology, Tundra doesn’t let obstacles get in the way of a good time.

All models come equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The convenience and familiarity of your mobile phone right on your Tundra’s screen.
